ITINERARY

KATHMANDU ARRIVAL

Welcome Greetings on arrival at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. Kathmandu which is the capital of Nepal situated in a broad valley at the edge of the Himalayan Range. Kathmandu was known as the place of art and architecture interesting blend of Hindu and Buddhist influences.

KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING

The morning after breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath Temple & Bouddhanath Stupa. Pashupatinath, which is known as Hindu shrine and one of the subcontinent's great Shiva sites and It shows the essence of Hinduism as pilgrims, priests, devotes, temples, ashrams, images, inscriptions, and cremation ghats intermingle with the rituals of daily life. Boudhanath which is the great stupa, one of Nepal's most distinctive monuments and important Buddhist sites in Nepal with a diameter of 100 meters which is amongst the largest in the world. All stupas contain holy relics and Boudha is said to contain the remains of the past Buddha Kasyapa.

Afterward, proceed to Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swayambhunath Stupa.
Kathmandu Durbar Square located in the heart of old city of Kathmandu in Basantapur. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity. In this tour, we visit the 17th Century Durbar complex and Hanuman Dhoka, the temple of Kumari (living goddess), Narayan Mandir, Maiju Dewal, and Kasthmandap a wooden temple built from a single tree, Shiva Parvati temple, great Bell and Drum, Bhairav and Taleju Temple. Swayambhunath which is known as the most ancient and enigmatic of the Valley's holy shrines the golden-spired stupa of Swayambhunath tops a wooded hillock. It is the Kathmandu Valley's most sacred Buddhist shrine and whilst its worshippers include the Vajrayana Buddhists of northern Nepal and Tibet, Newari Buddhists are the most fervent devotees.
Evening return to the hotel and have Dinner & overnight stay.

BHAKTAPUR - NAGARKOT

The morning after breakfast proceeds to Nagarkot via a sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur Durbar Square: As you walk in, you cannot but be overcome by a feeling of inner harmony. Interesting to see the art and architecture and the special layout here. The Palace of 55 Windows built during the period of King BhupatindraMalla in 1754 situated to the left as you enter through the city gate, inspires admiration. The National Art Gallery is also housed inside. The palace entrance, the Golden Gate is known as SunkoDhoka in Nepali is a masterpiece in repousse art. In front of the palace, the building is a medley of temples of various designs. Amongst the three Durbar Squares in the Valley, the Durbar Square in Bhaktapur is the best preserved one.
Continue tour of Nagarkot & transfer to hotel.
Nagarkot located about 32 km east of Kathmandu and from here see a beautiful view of Himalayan peaks (subject to weather permit) and enjoy the sunset over the Himalayas. (subject to weather permit). Dinner & overnight hotel.

NAGARKOT - POKHARA

The morning after breakfast proceeds to POKHARA, famous for its own natural beauty. At an elevation lower than Kathmandu, it has a much more tropical feel to it, a fact well appreciated by the beautiful diversity of flowers which prosper in its environs. Indeed, the valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forests, gushing rivers, emerald lakes and of course, the world-famous views of the Himalaya. Pokhara is part of a once vibrant trade route extending between India and Tibet. The evening reached Pokhara and check in at the hotel and Overnight stay at the hotel.

POKHARA SIGHTSEEING

The morning after Breakfast get ready to explore the old trading town of Pokhara where decorated pony trains from the Kali Gandaki trade routes jostle with men from the mountains bartering in the bazaar. Visit the Bindhyavasini Temple and the fascinating Butterfly Museum located on the grounds of the university. After that proceed to enjoy a boat trip on Phewa Lake passing through three-story villa where the King of Nepal maintains his winter home. In the afternoon many fishermen and other pilgrims take their long canoes, carved from tree trunks, to the island to visit the shrine. Overnight at the Fish Tail Lodge

DRIVE BACK TO KATHMANDU

The morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and Drive back to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and check in and Overnight stay.Guest has an option from to take flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu on extra cost approx INR 3000 Per Person.

DEPARTURE

After Breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Kathmandu airport for onward journey.
