Ladakh is the highest destination in India situated in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. It covers the area of 86905 Sq. most of the region above 3000 mtrs. Leh is also known for Land of monasteries and Gompas, there are many famous monasteries such as Shey Palace and monastery, Thiksey monastery, Hemis monastery, Chemrey Gompa, a Diskit monastery in Nubra valley, Samastaling monastery in Nubra valley, Tak Tak Gompa, Leh Palace, Stok palace etc.
