Tour Plan
Day 1 Chandigarh to Shimla (125 KM /4 Hrs)
Warm greetings on arrival at Chandigarh airport or station and start your prebooked Kinnaur Valley trip. Transfer to shimla approx. 04 hrs journey and evening time to explore Shimla mall road and night stay at hotel.
Day 2 Shimla to Sangla ( 230 Km / 8 – 9 HRS)
After breakfast drive to Sangla through the thick woods of Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda and along side the River Sutlej to arrive in the evening and check in to hotel. Enjoy the evening in beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetien border. O/N Hotel
Day 3 Sangla- Chitkul- Kalpa (Stay)
After breakfast explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam & Nages God. Post Lunch on direct payment, excursion to Chitkul – a last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Walk through green orchards & brilliant stream. Evening Drive to Kalpa for Dinner & O/N stay
Day 4 Kalpa Sightseeing
Early morning enjoy the Sunrise over Kinner Kailash Peaks. After breakfast Kalpa is famous for its Apples & Chilgoza Plantations [a kind of Dry Fruits], which are found only in Iran & Turkey besides here. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long soft cover. Visit to local School & Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist & local Deities. After lunch excursion trip to Roghi Village by walk to explore the ‘Pahari’ Life. Interact with the locals. Return back to Kalpa. Dinner & O/N stay.
Day 5 Kalpa – Sarahan- Shimla (10 Hrs)
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Shimla on the way visit Sarahan which is known for Bhimakali temple, dedicated to the mother Goddess Bhimakali, presiding deities of former Bushahr State. Overnight stay at Hotel
Day 6 Shimla to Chandigarh (125 KM / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Chandigarh after completion of Kinnaur Valley trip. Drop at Chandigarh Airport/Railway Station
